Yugawaralite is a rare zeolite mineral, initially identified at the Yugawara Hot Spring in Japan. It occurs in hydrothermally altered Basalt. This is by far the best example of this very rare crystalline mineral we are aware of, multiple crystals in-situ, some very broad, as the entire cavity within the basalt was carefully removed. The dynamic matrix within the cavity is covered in terminated clear Quartz. A Museum class rare mineral specimen at the highest level for the species Malad Quarry #2, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. 4.5" x 4" x 3", 1.46 lbs
