Transitional Pallasite Meteorite

Olivine (peridot) crystals in an iron-nickel matrix. Coarser metal areas develop Widmanstätten patterns upon etching.  Theorized as formed of core-mantle boundary material of early differentiated bodies fragmented by collision.
