Two blue crystals of Cavansite host a sparkling dusting of miniature rhombohedral crystals of Calcite in one of the most compelling mineral combinations in existence. Contrasting form and color, scale and shape. White blades of Stilbite accompany on miniature Heulandite, highlighted by the occasional burst of blue. The Wagholi Quarry of Pune, Maharashtra, India was the only mine where large, lustrous crystals of Cavansite have been found. This legendary location has been both closed and overbuilt, making these rare crystals increasingly hard to find.1.5" x 1.25" x 1.5", .8 oz.
